Worm hole.

The road from Indiana Dunes to Cedar point had to have been further than 240 some miles. It had to be. It should have taken us roughly 4 hours to get here, instead it took 6. Same sad story: tolls and traffic. Blah.

This morning, before we left, Jason, Marcus, and Samus took the three dune challenge. Lucas and I snuggled in bed while they trudged up and down the three tallest sand dunes in the park. When they came back, it looked as though they had hiked through rain. Nope. Just sweat. Rolling sweat. Lucas and I were thankful we chose to stay in bed as those three hosed off.

Once on the road, we blazed right through lunch, and were ravenous when we stopped at 4. Naturally, we chose Red Lobster as little supper. Because why make sandwiches in your rolling home when you can spend $60 on subpar seafood. Sadly, I could not eat the cheddar bay biscuits. At least I could still eat fried shrimp until I hated myself (as Jim Gaffigan says, that's how you know you're done).

We finally pulled into slightly smelly Sandusky around 8 pm. After checking in at Cedar Point, we promptly put on our swimsuits and plodded down to the campground pool. As a grand finale to the day, we ate ice cream from the general store and circled all the rides we wanted to go on the next day.

Tomorrow we get to go in an hour early and enjoy some of the coasters before the general public. Just another perk of hauling your camper across the country.

Until tomorrow, goodnight from the Munsch bunch.

Marcus had crab legs. I had the privelage to crack them and dig out the meat.

Samus had grilled shrimp. He traded Jason for small fried ones.

Lucas, the great adventurer, had chicken strips.
