Statue of Liberty Pictures

After a 5 hour drive we made into New York City, well Jersey City but close enough.

Our spot A13 at Liberty Harbor RV park.
Marcus really liked the artwork on the building you could see out our window.

Lucas had to get a picture with the foot
Outside on the pedestal
Another view from the pedestal
Did you know you could look up inside the statue? If not you do now.

Instantly my brand new all time favorite picture of Becky and me!
Iconic
All done ready to head back to the camper
Night shot of the Truckster and our parking space... I mean campsite.

View from our camper at night

Here's a vLog recap from the next morning.  It's a bit rough, but after this one I found out if I use the YouTube app I can switch the back and front camera while filming. So hopefully they will get better (I don't think they can get much worse).

So we thought we missed the ferry to the statue. Our tickets said the last ferry left at 3:30 and we should check in at 3:00, we realized this at 3:00 in the camper. Mad rush ensued, ended up parking and going to the wrong entrance. So got a bonus 15 minutes of cardio running to the right entrance. We missed the ferry but we got to see the statue (our tickets were ordered and printed so far in advance that they had winter hours listed on them). Here's a little taste of the Munsch's in NYC, we're going to get eaten alive.
