Saturday

Day 2
Today we climbed a mountain. Literally.

We began hiking around 9 am and wrapped it up about 6 pm. Our destination was sky pond, however, climbing the waterfall was far too treacherous for the children. Marcus and I climbed over the boulder field, covered in snowpack, up to the waterfall but it was like climbing a slip-n-slide straight up a hill.

Anyway, we climbed from the moraine ecosystem all the way to the alpine ecosystem (past the tree line). I expect that we will all sleep like dead horses tonight.

My stats:
Boy fights-1 (walking stick to the leg)
Sunburned necks-5
Fits thrown by Marcus-so, so many
Altitude sickness-2
Snack breaks-no less than 20
Lochs-1
Waterfalls-2
