After Crater Lake we headed over to the Oregon coast to check out its beaches. It was a shorter drive about four hours but through some pretty windy roads. We camped at Tillicum Beach Campground right in the middle of the Oregon coast. It was a nice small campground we didn’t get a spot overlooking the beach which would have been spectacular but we were just across and could get glimpses of it from our camper. The beach was big and the waves crazy they came in from all directions it was nuts. We went down to the beach a couple times once we setup for the day or a few hours it turned out but it was a lot of fun. Marcus got a lot of skim boarding in no swimming but we got in to our knees at most. It was cold outside and the water was freezing. We played some volleyball on the beach and spent time reading our books. The beach was something I’ve never seen before, well done Oregon.

Freezing water and cold outside. I’ve never seen so many sweatshirts on a beach then in Oregon. |
